During a rest in the Rockies, a mountain sheep gave me a good licking with her tongue, to get her share of the salty sweat. Waton, the walking salt lick. Yesterday the wife had a humming bird linger in the mist spray during the plant watering.

He he @Waton it sounds like you live in paradise to me in grey london already!

Here is another one guys. Its the same group of divers but a fuller video. Really is my dream.

Im infuriated 3 dsys ago a great white died in captivity after 3 days in a Japanese aquarium. Ass-hat cowboy operators!!! Caring only about the $$$$ they knew its been proven for decades they cannot survive in captivity. Im going to write the *Japanese govt i will boycott their products until they do something to protect our sharks, or our oceans will die. 100 million are killed worldwide, mainly just for their fins for shark fin soup....then tossed back into the ocesn to suffocate to death.https://youtu.be/deIwr9k_HGY

*They did the same thing to a rare Goblin shark not too long ago.

I blame monterey bay for that. They kept a female Carcharodon carcharias for 16 days and drew huge attendance, prompting other to copy. They have done it several more times since. To their credit, none of them have died, but several refused food, one attacked other sharks (surprise surprise). They simply are not compatible with captivity.

As an aside, i wish every japaneese whaling and shark finning ship was on the bottom of the ocean.

i also cheered every time a captive orca attacked some at seaworld.

Some creatures thrive in “captivity” (that is to say with humans or with human care), some tolerate it and some simply will not ever accept being kept captive and its wrong to even try.

Orcas (killer whales) are not only powerful predators, they also seem to be intelligent and inquisitive.

There has never been a documented orca attack on a human in the wild. Only when they are kept in captivity. It explains itself.

The following video shows canine communication between two Czech wolfdogs, a ten year old male and a nine year old female.

See if you can spot ...

Carrying the tail high (tail carried higher than back or up over the back - usually done by dominant dogs but also done by puppies)

Submissive roll (an animal drops down and rolls over onto its back, showing its potentially vulnerable belly)

Play-bow (an animal leans forward, head to the ground and tail in the air in an invitation to play)

    and

    Vocalisations

Then there's the man who swims with a crocodile he rescued and nursed back to health.

It seems the crocodile never forgot that and formed a bond with the guy.

    Incredible!

Then you are a monster. The people working with those animals were not always responsible for them being there or aware of their past. The company propagandized their "ecological rescue" and put their lives in danger.

    Watch the blackfish documentary.

    Here's another great documentary.

It's about two US naturalists - Jim and Jamie Dutcher - who reared a wolf pack and released the wolves into Idaho.

I may be, and i did.

You need to rewatch if you have anything but contempt for anyone associated with tillicums treatment. I respected very much those who worked left seaworld and worked for the end of the captive orca program.

These wernt innocent kids. They knew and saw more than enough to know the outright tourture being inflicted on the orcas and admitted it in the documentary. To work as a keeper you have to have a degree in biology. Far from innocent.

For what's it worth that was my view long before blackfish was made. The facts speak for themselves: an orca has NEVER attacked a human in the wild. In all of mankinds recorded history. Not one. The variable isnt hard to figure in the cases of orca attack.

That said, if you want to take all my remarks in context regarding some animals thriving and others not so much, then we have a basis for discussion. If you want to call me a monster i will 100% own it. Im a monster. But only slightly less so than those who were associated with the captive orca program in marine parks.
