Something else I want to clear up:
This sister was clean, wore tasteful makeup, and a decent hairstyle. She was no slob. Her dress was clean and neat but it was an unflattering style with an elasticised waist. The large floral print was dated and made her look older than I think she is. That's why I called it frumpy.
There was no reason for her to receive counsel from the elders. All she needs is a Makeover from ME. LOLOL
We have been not been involved for over 20 years, and never had anyone call on us door to door, nor have we seen anyone in our neighborhood, or had the neighbors mention jws being around, even before covid. I don't think our house is marked by the congregation not to call on, we aren't df'd or da'd. I don't think I would bother talking to them. Just wave them away without opening the door. No pearls before swine.
It is many years since I have seen them working door to door in our neighbourhood; certainly pre-pandemic. Even the apathy cart literature stands have been absent until only last week, when they had one set up in the local shopping centre.

Probably true in many places. But in my town, the trolley witnesses seem to be fairly engaged in the whole thing. I've never seen them talking to passersby, but their conversations with each other seem to contain a fair bit of interest.
