Waton..........that's all "OLD LIGHT". When JW "prophecies" don't prove to be true (in other words, when they rpove to be LIES), then they turn to their NEW LIGHT (aka New Lies).

What I find particularly awful about the ‘75 prediction is that some zealous brothers and sisters went all in and sold their houses to dedicate themselves in field ministry.
In the early 70s, they were treated like prophets, taken as examples at the meetings, conventions and even watchtower articles! Then, when ‘75 passed, the Watchtower turned against them and placed all the blame on their shoulders as if they had been spiritually weak all along!
Faced with this abuse, many of them left. Rather than admitting their responsibility, the Watchtower stood its ground until finally, in 1981, they called them out as apostates/anti-Christ for leaving the organization!
Since then, most JWs are too afraid to consider what happened. How could they be in a loving religion and concede that their religious leaders acted this way with their most zealous members? They sacrificed their homes and retirement plans to ultimately be called anti-christs! How low can you go?

Ultimate Axiom
"you know the end is right around the corner, just look at the state of the world today"
Yep, that's more or less what they said in 1912.

The fact is mankind has been more warring in the centuries previous to 1914 in all continents such as Europe, Africa, North and South America, on a population percentage basis.
The Watchtower has always exploited people's ignorance and fear and that's why it has been so demeaning to education. The WTS wants the knowledge that supports their publishing proliferation and have people subjective (believing) to it.
They selectively take only what they can use to support their doctrines and since they claim god is guiding them, people take it as the spoken truth when in contrary most of the time its not.

The Watchtower Corporation has always been a lying corrupt religious publishing house.
The WTS has promoted itself and its own published literature on that platform, catching vulnerable ignorant people in its endeavoring activity.
One of the strongest reasons why I left and others as well.
All of these lies and and corruption but then they say god has chosen them and is guiding the organization through his holy spirit..... aww... I think not.

Blondie - love the opening screen shot on that YouTube.
A convention badge with 'conquer the world in the 1970s' written on it. I guess they held back from writting 'Watchtower über alles.'

The Watchtower (formerly the "Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence") has been predicting "The End" since it was first published in July 1879.
That's 140 years of being wrong.

jp1692 if you can count to 140, in their books you must be a scholar and therefore apostate.
