I think that Witnesses think that Satan is actually more the one we have to reckon with. If we believe Jehovah God is SO powerful, why worry SO MUCH about Satan and his demons. The angels of God are supposed to be much stronger and powerful than any demon, so why are JW's CONSUMED with the demons???

minimus, because they are told that Satan and the demons know they can't defeat God and that since 1914, they no longer have access to heaven so can't fight with Jesus and the angels, so their special target now are his "servants" on earth and their "companions."

Well, Satan the Devil "walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone." (1 Peter 5:8) He wrathfully wages war not only against Jehovah’s earthly organization as a whole but also against each individual servant of God .

imo, the wt gives lip service to God's power because in reality they truly believe that God has lost control or something by being so afraid of the devil and misinterpreting the bible to try to make it say that satan actually is the god now. They cannot understand what is meant by "world".

Even if they feel that God hasn't lost control, they do believe that He has chosen to do nothing until Armaggeddon. So due to God's inactivity, the demons have taken control. When you think about it, you have to wonder why the most powerful force known wouldn't just protect his servants and get rid of those trying to harm his people.

The Watchtower is the Angel of Light, Satan the Devil.

It Resists God, by allowing and at times even promoting the flourishing of evil both in the congregations and at Bethel.

It Slanders his name, by blaming all their doctrinal twists and turns on God rather than on their own mistakes.

So in reality the Watchtower worships both Jehovah and Satan the Devil, God and itself.

I can see where you're going with this but, in reality, the WTS are mere pee-ons compared to the major religions of the world. Why would Satan want to be so small if he is in charge of the entire world? Doesn't make much sense to choose to be a little guy when you can be the biggest guy. Not if you’re trying to beat people up anyway. Most people don't give a rat’s ass about JWs.
