Another strange point in jw dogma is this: that since 1914 the deminz and their master Satan are restricted to earth. Since in biblical times(*) there were quite a few demon possessed people around shouldn't we expect an increase in such atacks since 1914? However in these modern times no such things have occured! (disregarding hearsay) How do JW's explain that?
(*) Well according to the bible anyway. People in those times were superstitious and thought falling desease and other maladies were demon induced fenomena...

There appears to be less demon possession since 1914 , than there is now. It seemed that everyone that was healed had a demon or two in them.

If we go by the bible's view then everyone with mental conditions that the world has grown to treat and help would be viewed as demon possessed, shunned by society and probebly left in a dark room somewhere. Gimme a break!
If it wasn't for the dummy wordly's as the JW's view them we would still harbour the same attitudes today. I think we should be proud of ourselves and how far we have come with facing a lot of issues, although things are far from perfect I think they are much better than years ago. If things were left up to the JW's ...well, perish the thought.

That is so true. The last conversation I had with my mother about the WTS and my feelings about it, I was on the cusp of getting upset about it and wanted to just end the converstaion, so I did and the last words I said about the WTS were with slightly raised voice, "I DON'T WANT TO SEE SATAN IN EVERYTHING I LOOK AT!" LOL!
IW, ok, I see what you mean. When I first read it I took it as focusing on "WT" like it was the actual anti-christ and stood alone.
