Princess:
Who knew they assume you are male when you order from Performance?
Well it took me a while to figure out there had to be women's biking clothing too. But when I did, boy, oh boy! Can you say clothes horse?LOL
My first bike shoes were mens, from Performance. Bike rain gear...mens from Performance. They always felt like flippers but then I was still struggling with toe clips.
Flippers! HA! That's a good description! As far as toe clips, if you haven't already gone clipless you just gotta do it, it's the best way to go.
I highly recommend a camelback, they are awesome.
I've got two, had three but sent one to my daughter if was more for mountain biking she got it along with my hardly riden new mountain bike. Craig got tired of tripping over it to get to his computer........sigh! Yeah I love my camelbak's won't ride without one!
I just bought my first jersey today. It was $40, marked down to $5.
Girl, where do you shop? I mean LETS GO SHOPPING! How awesome a deal is that, wowzers! I can't even count all my jersey but I know I never paid less than $20 for any one of them.
shamus:
always wear underwear with my bike shorts; HOWEVER... my bike shorts are spandex with regular shorts sown over top of them - the new trend.
Those are great for mountain biking is that the kind of riding you do? Not to good for road biking the legs fill up with air and all that drag ain't good.
It doesn't show your bits and pieces as much... which are hard to ignore in spandex...
Ahh man the reason us girls like to ride with the guys is you can check out their package.
Wassa: Damn! I thought this was a dress code request for the Seattle Apostofest! If you don't wear your underwear to the Seattle Apostofest, Craig and I aren't coming!
