Yerusalyim is quite correct about the Hadith, which is similar in importance as the Torah is to Jews, or Church tradition is to Christians, or the Watchtower magazine is to Jehovah's Witnesses. Also, I never stated what the Koran (Q'uran) taught. I stated that some posters obsfuscate what is really taught. What matters is not what the Holy Book says, but what "true believers" believe in. The Bible teaches love, but Jehovah's Witnesses are taught to hate their enemy. The Bible frees us from law, but many Christian groups, like the JWs, place their members under law. Every Islamic person I have met that grew up in the Middle East believes in the 72 Virgins (Wives) teaching, or they have reported that it is almost a universal belief among Muslims, like the Trinity is almost a universal belief among Christians.

she wanted to know why is it that in most religion some dude always comes up with a way in which god allows him to have lots of "Coochie" jews- had lots of women on the side and god said _OK-- christains had lots of women on the side and GOD says it OK MORMONS, and now Muslium say is GOD OKed the rule to allow men to have lots of Coochie
yet we could not find one major religion where women get to have lots of STUDS on call-

What is your point Yeru. So, Hadith has great weight. What do you call Papal infallability? Why is it 'bad' for a Muslim clerics words to have great weight when a Chrstian clerics words with the same weight escape your criticism? Isn't that a double standard?

The main problem with all religionists, whether they are Christian, Jew or Muslim, is that it's the fanatics that ruin it for everyone else.
It’s great you can have fellow feeling for peace loving religionists of other denominations, who are equally distressed by the murderers and fanatics of their faith who seek to cleanse their behaviour by claiming it is done in god’s name. For cultural reasons it seems Isalm is very effected by the stain of fundamentalism, but that same stain is seen in Christian, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist belief, as well as some secular ideologies.
