Each time I gave a full days work in the field service or anything else, they would always say, "what are you doing tomorrow brother"?
That got me angry. They were always thinking ahead of time and wanted to keep you busy day after day, even if you gave your maximum.
They control you by controling your free time and the way you dress.

Guilt trips such as "Do you think Jehovah approves of this?"
They never ask you this question if you do something well.

How about the rules on sex??? Why in the world would they think they can come into my bedroom and tell me how I can or can't have sex??????!!!!!
If that's not trying to control me, I don't know what is.

If I got close to any of them it was always the same scenario....TOO MANY BUSYBODIES IN MY BUSINESS. I'll never forget all of the sisters who would try to control everything that went on in my pathetic little life. Everything from what kind of movies I rented to what kind of art I hung on my walls. Not to mention how I dressed. They have a way of controlling you by the way they always want to make
suggestionsthier opinions known on how you can be moretheocraticlike them. They controlled whether or not I was invited to the latest function they were having by how clone-like I appeared. -

Not just sisters. Some of the biggest gossip-mongers in the congregations I attended were brothers. Usually elders, cause they had the low-down on everything and everybody. I learned the juicest news when I went out in service with just a couple or three elders. I'd sit quietly in the back and take it all in.

- An answer to any question was not valid unless it was mentioned in a watchtower.
- Don't listen to anything about the religion unless it comes from the Society.
- Don't talk to former members.
- Don't talk to opposers.
- Only spend your free time doing theocratic activities.
- Don't go to college.
The list goes on and on. They control almost every aspect of your life. From the clothes you wear, the music you listen to, the movies you watch, the friends you hang out with, etc.
The worst part is they control your thoughts. People cannot think on their own. They must find answers in the watchtower publications.
