You can't bring a food cooler to the assemblies!

Wasn't there a post quite awhile ago where someone brought this up?

I recall that someone said that for lunch they had to go out to the local Mini-Mart and grab a hot dog that was simmering all day on the grill! (Great Cuisine there!)

Hmmm,,,where was that post? I need more advanced search capabilities here (Hint, Hint, Simon)

Anyway, No food served at assemblies, can't bring a food cooler with you, can't leave the assembly to go get food....what do they expect people, especially families, to do?

They are placing unreasonable burdens on everyone.

I wonder, where do the convention speakers eat at the assemblies?

You can have a food cooler but it was be small enough to fit under the seat. It can't be stored on a seat (takes up space a person could use) or stored in the aisle (laws against it).

KM 5/99 p. 5 packing them in a small container or cooler that can fit under the seat

Let's hope there is a mass explosion of food poisoning, and many of them puking at their seats. That would stir things up wouldn't it?

I guess this means I can't set up a Hibachi either.

Maybe Jesus will see their suffering and bring bread, fish, and wine for the hungry masses.

When did all of this happen? I haven't been to a convention in 10 years. They don't have food anymore? Didn't the free food for donation work out. I thought that Jehovah was supposed to bless that arrangement.

I guess I can understand the fire hazard problem with large coolers. Those stadium aisles are cramped enough as it is. They were designed for an exciting two hour game or rock concert, not a marathon session of all day Bible based monotony.

So why can't they just go out and get something at a restaurant? Or send the head of the household out for fast food?
