This is an excellent thread, Minimus!
I got kicked off mic's regularly and never had a single reason given to me as to why,... and I never cared. They could have shoved those mic's straight up their ass for all I would have cared....
The congregation was always just a gossip centre, and I always knew what was going on.

As an elder, i always wondered why all the other elders thought they were meting out such a huge punishment by taking away the "handling of the mikes". The result? Nearly all the elders pass the mikes along with a few wannabes. No one left is "qualified".
