I always thought that "Be Longsuffering" was the most appropriate song to begin
either a meeting or an assembly. Talk about foreshadowing the next few hours.

LDH,
That one was From House to House, absolutely no musical merit.
I had forgotten how many bad one's there were. Thanks for the memories. Ooops is that a song?
Some of the lyrics you guys wrote are hysterical!!!

Cool music for your wedding Reagan. That was the bane of my life in my first wedding. It really bugged me that I couldn't use any "worldly music" when there is so much great stuff out there.

Dirges...worse than the Star Spangled Banner to sing...depressing, rediculous. FIRM and deTERmined in this time of the eeeeeend...
How can you NOT appreciate that these were written by brothers in PRISON??? Or DYING in a gator infested SWAMP while walking to the DISCTRICT assembly 82 miles away??? How unappreciative you are!! Didnt you know that even though they were in a 4 x 4 cell with rats and no light that they were provided pencil and paper to write SONGS??? Hallelujah brothers...amen
Beeetch slap that sister singing alto...how PRETENTIOUS! Look at that brother showing his TEETH when he sings! Who is he trying to IMPRESS?? Put your arms down! Hold that book and your head DOWN when singing...or you may look like that picture inside the cover of the song book..and we cant have THAT.
I remember, I believe it was song 191, which was two pages and 4 verses and about 10 minutes long...which a brother picked to accompany his TALK on a Sunday not seeing that it was already assigned to be sung after the Watch Tower study! We had to sing that stupid turtle slow boring thing TWICE that day. I gave him hell for that. He was very apologetic and right he should have been. It was cruel and unusual punishment.
In the 13 years I was in....I swear we only sang about 20 of those songs, over and over and over and ....no wonder people would cry.

This is fun, but damn it! Now I have "We're Jehovah's Witnesses" stuck in my head!!!
Think I'll go listen to some Ozzie to cleanse myself.
"Forget the tribe, my pants have spoken."

...I just got annoyed stares, like I was fricking up God's precious meeting.
ROFL, TR. For some reason that sentence struck me as hilarious and I laughed out loud for like half a minute. Whew! I'm ok now.
