Personally, I take aleve, and before I go to sleep, I drink about 4 8 oz. glasses of water. It also helps to sleep just a little bit later.

for massive hangovers, I'll take a multivitamin before bed, drink the gatorade, and then some water, along with aleve. Works like a charm for me.

I haven't been REALLY drunk in years..........I find that the older I get, the worse the hangovers are, so I try to avoid it. However, I find that if I've had "a few" to drink, that the sugar in the rum (which is what I usually drink) wakes me up about 6 hours later feeling horrible, so I take a gravol and lots of water and that helps me sleep later and re-hydrate.

If you are feeling queazy, get it out. Your body is overwhelmed and can't handle it. You'll feel much better afterwards. Besides the cold porcelain against the forehead feels damn good at that point. LOL

Make sure the toilet rim is clean first!

I agree with most of the suggestions, but I will add my remedy:

first drink water before bed with a large dose of Vitamin C---it helps clear the liver and gets rid of the residue faster. then drink gatorade in sips when ever you wake up and definitely in the morning. But do not over dose on the vitamin C---it can cause diarrhea and you dont need that if you can't get out of bed....between 500-1000mgs is plenty. for the headaches---including migraines--make a cold mask with a damp wash cloth put in the freezer for a few minutes and add lavender oil to the forehead/temple area and eucalyptus or tea tree to the malar/nose area and upper lip. It will dilate the capillaries and help relieve the headache. Weak black tea with a little skim milk and burnt toast will help with nausea. Beef bouillion is good too if it persists passed a meal time. I also agree with the B-complex, but it keeps me awake, so I wait till the next day when I can stomach it.

nah...I am just a witch. you know herbs and potions?

I have done this for morning sickness (due to imbalance not pregnancy) and I have had one mega-mother of all hangovers that lasted for 3 days which ended my drinking career before it started.

I have had hangovers from only a little alcohol--especially white wine and especially since I have turned 35. But I can usually drink grain alcohol and beers without much trouble and pretty much drink as much as my husband who has a 100 pounds on me. But I also get migraines.

Hair of the dog that bit 'cha !

Tried that about 30 years ago. Downed a couple of shots of vodka the next morning and the "hair" came right back up, along with everything else that was in my poor stomach. The best way to handle a hangover is just don't get one in the first place. Bug
