Crownboy, the love of fried chicken is definitely not a "black thing" believe me! It's a universal love that knows no racial boundaries. Hot fresh juicy mmmmmmmmmmm...........what were we talking about again? Make it quick because I'm getting hungry!
My name? Bendrr. Some see the first 3 letters and assume "Ben", but my name's not Ben or Benjamin or anything close to that. It's Mike. (duh!) Bendrr is pronounced "bender" with a little e-flourish at the end. I spent 5 years working in a local muffler shop. My manager had been in the business for 30+ years and learned it from his father. His father ran the exhaust on the original Batmobile (or so Gary claims). Gary himself worked on Elvis Presley's cars when he was working in Memphis. Exhaust work isn't just about clamping on mufflers, you're also replacing pipes and some of those pipes you have to bend yourself. So I spent the greater part of those 5 years learning how to bend pipes. And I learned it very well from Gary. So I wasn't just a mechanic, I was an "exhaust man" or "pipe bender" and still am even though I've gotten out of practice in the last couple of years since I don't do it anymore. But that's how I picked my name. Bender, for pipe-bender, and stylized it a little.
Mike.
