An good and interesting question. The witnesses definitely adhere to the idea of a single entity as the Supreme Being and the scriptural references seem to support that concept. However in your mind, forgetting scripture, bible, teachings etc,,,,,

What do you think? What seems logical in your mind? I believe that at the end of the day, what we believe has to make sense to our individual faculties as we must take responsibility for our lives, actions, and to a lesser degree our beliefs. However I argue that what is most important is what kind of people we are, what kind of life do we lead. Are we good, moral, kind, thoughful, loving, constructive, positive people? A belief to a large extent is a hollow and empty thing. If you belief that there are 48 gods, how does that affect you?

the real truth said:"Now answer me this, since it refers to Jesus as "a god", then is Jesus a true God or a False God???"

    Dear the real truth,

The book of Isaiah chapter 9:6 shows us that it was foretold in this Messianic prophecy that Jesus Christ would be called "Mighty God":

ISAIAH 9:6:" For there has been a child born to us; there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."

Jehovah God is The ALMIGHTY TRUE GOD. Jesus Christ is Jehovah God's only begotten-Son/God. Jesus Christ is a TRUE MIGHTY GOD.

You seem, then, to have embraced a form of polytheism, since you have more than one true god. That seems a strange belief, in view of Jehovah's own words at Isaiah 43:10,11:

Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior."

Let's see then, Jesus is true God, yet there is no God but Jehovah. And Jesus is also referred to as Savior on many occasions, yet there is no Savior besides Jehovah. Hmmm.....

There is a theory known as the "Theory of Constraints" and in the theory on of the primary problem solving tools is to imagione your issue as a big black storm cloud and then ask: what will it take to make my cloud go away?

The most successful mechanism for making the cloud disappear is to challenge your assumptions because in almost all cases you have made some assumptions which are not based on truth or established fact and without the assumption the issue disappears or is easily solved....just like evaporating a cloud.

Your whole question is based on a challengable assumption namely: The Bible contains the Truth. Until we can establish credibility for the Bible as true why use it to bolster an argument? What will seem to be a ridiculous parallel would be to say: why didn't Cinderella go in search of the prince instead of waiting for the prince to search the whole country with the glass slipper before she was found? This question assumes that the story of Cinderella is true...establishing that the story is a myth or a fairy tale changes your perspective to: "why waste your time even trying to answer the question".

Hope you have a sunny day.

    Dear Donkey,

In Isaiah 9:6, it was foretold that Jesus Christ would be called "Mighty God". Of course Jehovah God is the only Almighty God ! Jesus Christ is referred to as a 'Mighty God' in Isaiah 9:6 to demonstrate to us that Jesus Christ possesses godly-like visible and invisible qualities that are a reflection of the image of the invisible true God. This prophecy also refers to Jesus Christ as "Eternal Father". We know that Jehovah God is our only Father. Again this Scripture is demonstrating to us that is through Jesus Christ's ransom that we have the forgiveness of our sins. Thus Jesus Christ becomes our "Eternal Father" in this sense. Therefore, Jesus Christ is appropriately called "Mighty God' and "Eternal Father".

COLOSSIANS: 1:,13,14, 15,16,17,18,19,20: (13):" He delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,( 14):"by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins" (15):" He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. (16):"because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him."(17):"Also, he is before all [other] things were made to exist, (18):" and he is the head of the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; (19):"because [God] saw good for all fulness to dwell in him."(20):"and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens."

    Hmmm...

I always feel bad when people put so much thought into answering a question in earnest when the person asking the question- frankly- doesn't care enough about you or your thoughts to even read your posts. This is just another person who should have known that this isn't a site frequented by active Jehovah's Witnesses. The Real Truth would have known this had they spent even five minutes looking over the site before posting. Of course, so many nice people take the time to respond to The Real Truth and he/she still hasn't bothered to read your posts and glean from the multiple not-so-subtle hints that this isn't an active witness haven! Please!

Then again why would TRT bother to read your answers to his/her ever so important question? In face to face conversation he/she would look darn rude right about now. Online...The Real Truth just looks like a troll. Troll or no, The real truth has some reading comprehension issues to work on!

    Dear Donkey,

You are right. I made a mistake. Yes, my post/response is directed to NeonMadman and not to you. I'am sorry and thanks for bringing this matter to my attention.
