The WTS Kills Another Child

    Hi Everyone,

Since I am one of those unfortunate parents who had a child die in part as a result from refusing blood transfusions to save his life. My son might have died anyway, we will never know. My son refused blood after the auto accident on the way to the hospital. Then my son's Dad once again refused blood for our son. They warned us he would have no chance at all if we didn't give him blood. He lived 3 1/2 hrs is all.

I realize how everyone here is shocked how this can happen how can a parent who loves their child better than their own life let that child die when blood can save them perhaps. I ask this of myself.

I can only tell you I was throughly decieved by the Watchtower Society up until that day. I believed ours and our childrens everlasting lives depended on refusing blood even in life threatening situations. I completely believed the WTS. It was after our son died I found AJWRB.ORG, and learned that the WTS had been misleading all those of us that are JW. Well it lead me on a path that took me out of the witnesses. I now work with AJWRB.ORG to educate other witnesses, and help ex-witnesses, and to educate the general public about the blood policy of the JW's.

No parent wants to let their child die, they believed that Jehovah demanded it. The lies the WTS has told people make the Governing Body the ones responsible for the unnessarily death of these children and adults. JW's let their beloved family die because they have been told that this is what is required of them to have everlasting life. If they knew God did not requires this they would not do it.

    Sincerely,

    Mary from AJWRB.ORG aka Balsam

Robyn and Mary, I am so sorry for you both,

Thankyou Mary, for becoming strong enough to become an advocate. That is tremendous.

    WATCHTOWER LURKERS:

Do you understand that you are facing brave, and courageous, former members, who have made it their lives mission to EDUCATE potential new members?

Do you realize you will continue to have doors slammed in the face of your ''publishers'', because of the blood issue?

You were wrong about vaccinations, you were wrong about aluminum, and you are wrong on the transfusion issue!

Your biblical stance is wrong, and an archaic blunder, and you have proven repeatedly to be behind the times, and mistaken on medical issues.

WE DEMAND REFORM ON THIS NOW!!!!!!

(((((((((((((Robyn))))))))))))) This is so sad. Funny thing though, if I had gotten sick as a teenager, I would have refused blood also. Even if I had wanted to take blood, I wouldn't have for fear of disappointing my family. So I would have made the same stance. I imagine most of us who grew up in this organization would have. We will never know if that 16 year old girl truly believed in what she was doing. So very sad. My 3 step siblings lost their mother because she refused blood transfusions when she was bleeding uncontrollably after giving birth to my youngest step sister. It breaks my heart that she will never know her mother because of this religion.

I feel in heart that the WTS is bloodguilty on many accounts. They will have to answer up one day.

Until then, I hope people in the organization open their eyes.

Personally, I would have never refused a blood transfusion, not for me, or my family, even when I was a witness.

I believe God would want us to do whatever it takes to keep our life.

    Sorry Robyn for your pain.

How could anybody think that Jehovah would want them to sacrifice their children to him? Didn't we learn at the KH that the child sacrifices to Baal were an abomination to Jehovah? What about Yahweh interceeding when Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac?

JWs are insane. Completely and utterly insane

Good point Robyn. I really had my head up my ass as a JW; I never once thought about the biblical account of children being sacrificed to God. This is a good argument.

The bible also says do not kill yet, when faced with a life or death situation one could be pardoned for killing in self-defense. Is that not right?

I am an active witness; I will NEVER ALLOW MY CHILD TO DIE FOR LACK OF A BLOOD TRANSFUSION, the elders and HLC's can go kill someone else, thanks very much.

I no longer carry my blood card. I only go to be with my family until they can see the facts for themselves.

These men are killers and for what? They know that when they change the blood policy, as they are doing slowly, they lose a large number of contributors members.

This I know: There IS a God.

    Mr. Kim

Thank you for reminding me. And I mean that sincerely.

    This is sickening.

(((((Brenda)))))) my friend, I so agree. It's awful enough to make somebody physically ill.

((((((Balsam))))) I couldn't help but cry when I read your comments. Thank you for all you are doing to set others free from tyranny.

LW, What you said deserves repeating:

You were wrong about vaccinations, you were wrong about aluminum, and you are wrong on the transfusion issue!

(((((Bittersweet))))) I am saddened to hear what happened to your family.

I would have refused blood also. Even if I had wanted to take blood, I wouldn't have for fear of disappointing my family.

You make a good point. Children tend to want to please their parents.

I believe God would want us to do whatever it takes to keep our life.

Freedom, I agree totally. Life is God's gift to us. It's a shame that some people do not see the significance of that.

The bible also says do not kill yet, when faced with a life or death situation one could be pardoned for killing in self-defense. Is that not right?

Sandy, I believe that you are correct.

I am an active witness; I will NEVER ALLOW MY CHILD TO DIE FOR LACK OF A BLOOD TRANSFUSION, the elders and HLC's can go kill someone else, thanks very much.

Pistoff, I am sure that your children pick that up subconsciously and are grateful to feel so secure in your love.

Robdar, it is so sad when someone you know dies needlessly. It hurts. Or just to know that maybe the person who died might have had a chance.

For now, his parents will feel they have done the right thing, as well the son on his death bed, in that ambulance ,felt he was doing the right thing.

The hard time will be if the parents ever due research and discover that the WTBTS keep changing their minds on things... like organ transplants. What if some day this organization changes it's mind on blood tranfusion.

If that day comes, you will see alot of people emotionally crash and the members on this web site will skyrocket. We need to be ready for them, to help them and support them.

It saddens us all to here this type of story that is continually happening.

    and thankyou for sharing

Special K, welcome to the board and thank you for your comments.

Aubrey was 4th generation JW. If her parents were paying any attention at all, they would know how the WTS flip-flops on doctrine.

I think that the day that the WTS changes its beliefs on blood transfusions will be the day it crumbles. And the old boys in Brooklyn know this. I don't think that they will give up their power anytime soon. It must be fun riding the Brooklyn gravy train.
