It was July 1973 at the International Convention in Atlanta Georgia. I was almost 15 and was the last of the kids in my gang to get baptized. I don't really think i dedicated myself because I don't think I was capable at that age of doing that. I thought maybe getting baptized would take away my homosexual feelings which were torture to me as a teenager.
Man, July 23, 1973, almost 30 years ago. Now that's scary.

it would have been 11 but they messed up my questions so i had to wait.

There were so many of us getting baptized that assembly (all under 14) that we went over our questions in groups of two. My friend would answer one question, and then I would get the next one. While she was answering I was scanning ahead to prep for mine. Sad.

15. Which in my mind was way too young to really comprehend what I was doing. Theres nothing quite like a little mind control at that age.
