There are many worthwhile groups to be a part of that make much more of a difference in the good of people than the witnesses. Find where your heart is, what makes you happy, and find others that feel the same way.

I feel like FINALLY I am part of something big - the human race. You can't get much bigger than that! I guess once you realize you no longer fit into the small Wal-Mart religion (loved that Phip, thank you!), then Life begins to look like Macy's in NYC. There are a million more options, a ton more people, elevators that take you to new levels, and better customer service. No. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I feel more a part of life than I ever have!

No, I never really felt that I belonged anyway.

Unique - I couldn't agree more. My last congregation I attended faithfully was in Evergreen Colorado. I've never felt so unwelcome or unwanted.

They did a good job of making you IMAGINE that everything was all right just because you came to the hall. They could sure make chicken crap smell like chicken salad! But they were foolin' you!

well tinks i never felt so pure and clean after leaving the hall....... i always felt i could never measure up but i miss the friends and the illusion of being part of something great and united world wide. even tho when i would travel some of the times i would go to another hall.............. me being shy by nature would leave pretty quick afterwards and not have a word said to me... tho im sure a great portion of that was just me being me. i did move tho and when i did i tried the local hall.................. and these were brothers in my own circuit and i barely got anything said to me. i KNEW these peeps and they knew me lol. but congs always varied. guess maybe if i had been into the whole thing more maybe id have something closer to the clean sin free feeling..... i dunnnu. kinda glad i didnt waste my time tho no ya kno

After spending a weekend in Dallas with Big Tex and the crew and then a weekend in Green Bay with The District Overbeer and Xena's Warriors, I know I am part of something. Something big, something good and something worth holding on to.
