The banjo playing Deliverance in the background . . . .

The true perfection of man lies, not in what man has, but in what man is. Nothing should be able to harm a man but himself. Nothing should be able to rob a man at all. What a man really has is what is in him. What is outside of him should be a matter of no importance.
    --Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)

Early to rise and early to bed makes a male healthy and wealthy and dead.
    --James Thurber (1894 - 1961)

And you, tex, are just a boy in a skirt when it comes to sarcasm.

And that's one reason I stay off the grown-up threads. My avatar is my inner child. And we just don't handle those intense back and forth discussions as well as you do.

Now as for the skirt thing .... is Victoria's Secret in any way involved?

Oscar Wilde might change his philosophy today. What "was outside of him" brought him down in disgrace and infamy. One now hardly remembers him for what he was as an author. He is mostly remembered for his sensational trial and his subsequent jail term.

And this one is for my Uzzah,

The newspapers said the woman stabbed her husband 37 times. I admire her restraint. - Rosanne Barr

I've decided to repent tomorrow.....it's a woman's perogative. But so that you know my female heart's in the right place (yes, I do have a cold one)

If there were no men, the world would be filled with fat, happy, women. - Author unknown at the present - I'm supposed to be working. I have that one memorized though.

((((((((((((((tex))))))))))))))))))))))) Oscar Wilde is quoted many times - and I've got some of them. When I get home - I'll throw a couple out here. And you think Ah'm sarcastic!

Oh, gosh, do you really think that's true??? His work is OUTSTANDING. Oscar Wilde is one of my favorite authors; George Orwell is a very close second.

I'm at work now, so can't be sure, but I believe the following quote is attributed to Oscar Wilde.

You won't find a man with a sunnier disposition than mine as long as everyone agrees with me.

And this is for my friend Uz................

Don't dismiss what they say about men in women's magazines. It's not deep, but then neither are men.

    Gotcha cutie.
