Another recorded Judicial Meeting...

What an outrageous and truly eggregious decision by that judicial committee. They came across to me as being quite conceited. Their application of Acts 2:21 (de jeur elevation of "customary practice") is a wanton act of pure sophistry. The judicial committee's handling of scripture is exemplary of 2 Peter 3:16 wherein it is said:"... In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction."

The composure of the victims is to be admired. They are quite correct when they told the committee that they are loosing decent people. Indeed, this organisation is proving rather adept at such haemorrhaging of nice folks who wish to be open minded.

Nicholaus - "...They are quite correct when they told the committee that they are losing decent people. ..."

Decent people... smart people... young people...

...by this point (and at the rate they're going), you'd almost think the Org didn't want them.

They truly just want zombies that give money! I didn't know until I heard this that they made up their own definition for the word apostasy. When they can just make up bullshit and use it you have zero chance.

These idiot elders thought by dfding this couple it' would be an act of loving discipline but again their clueless. Reminded me of the move the Giver where a person is killing a baby and doesn't even know it. That's JWs for you!

I don't understand why ANYONE would put themselves through a JC meeting

There is only 2 rational reasons to do it. The first is if you truly want to stay in the "troof", in which case you need to go in and pretend you just made a mistake but really belief in all the bullshit that is taught. The second is if you want to record it, to show the stupidity of how they are conducted. I would say this one is the latter.

If you simply want to leave and stop being a JW, then there is no conceivable reason to attend one of these kangaroo courts.

It seems that the org is moving toward the idea that it does not need facts at any stage of being a believing JW.

What now counts for membership (as the clip shows) is just total conformity with the culture of JWs as espoused by its governing body. You can be df'd for holding opinions which differ from the prevailing orthodoxy of the organisation.

Thou shalt not think for thyself!

The next stage in this increasingly despotic cultic regime is to demand that the GB are "God's Anointed" and that to disagree with them is to touch God's anointed (Psa.105:15). Watch this space. . .

This brainless bunch of desperadoes is using every method of cultic reinforcement possible to fend off reality.

Every means of aggrandising their own unjustified power over their flock is used: through dishonesty, alarmist distortion of evidence, through daily enforced exposing them to false propaganda and through powerful threats of social severance from family and friends if you do not conform to their will.

And to what end: that more and dumber, subservient JWs are in thrall to stratospherically elevated GB members.

    Spare us!

I didn't listen to the recording. I gather that this was at the conclusion of the audience:

"You've been disfellowshipped for apostasy, we have a few Scriptures we'd like to share with you ... "

It is very strange because after you DF an individual you don't share anything else spiritual with him, like a scripture or prayer; any texts will be mentioning prior to communicating the disfellowshiping and probably as the basis for the action.

The ironic part of this JC is that the WTS/JWS organization is very apostate according to Scripture.

These people are sucking up to these WTS enforcers extenuating their power and control.

Let it be understood that JW elders are not social psychologists and most are not well educated either.

JW elders are designated enforcers of the doctrines handed out by the knowingly corrupt GB members.

    Shame really

The JWS is an organized conformity(mind control) toward apostasy against the bible teachings and Jesus Christ.

The WTS leaders allure people toward being faithful and discreet slaves/servants to them not god.

From a theological perspective, it's no wonder that many people say this organization is inspired and influenced from Satan the Devil because its attempt to divide people from Jesus Christ and his teachings.
