  The elders' definition of apostasy was deviating from the "customary" beliefs of JWs. How often have the GB changed these customary beliefs, thereby apostasising from the faith?

  By their own standards they condemn themselves.

  This JC was nothing short of a witch hunt, conducted by blinkered men unable to form any reasoned opinion for themselves and with one agenda - to remove "disease" from the congregation. At what point does a JW lose their humanity? Their attitude was utterly shameful.

  In contrast, the couple were dignified, honest and remained true to their own personal integrity. I wish them the very best.

  Couldn't agree more , the couple showed much more integrity, honesty and restraint in telling what they really thought.

  I guess it comes at a cost of being slightly intimidated and nervous.

  I would like to have heard what the couple were saying after the meeting .

  Like I said before elders are intimating thugs who relish in power and likewise with the GB men, god is their power too but as the saying goes power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  I hate listening to JC recordings but they do highlight the lunacy of this religion and the arrogance, hypocrisy, and plain stupidity of the elders trying to enforce WT rules. Their attempts to sound righteous and well versed they just sound ignorant and overbearing.

  Oh man. These "elders" came with a preset agenda. This whole worship of the GB is really crazy. Just where does the society get their info? Do these GB men sit in a guilded room in an ornate chair with an aluminum hat with antanae sticking up to receive the direct wording from God? What linguistical acrobatics did they use to translate a bible to fit their needs? Self righteous, condescending, little nothings. I wish this family love and contentment. They did much better than I would have. I'm so glad they had their letters ready and waiting. Drop the mike.

  Every JC has a preset agenda, and it isn't to help who ever is summoned.

  In this JC, that was proven when the questions continued after the couple properly answered the elder's initial questions, which was about 5 minutes in.

  Further questioning was really a fishing trip with the elders trolling to hook the couple. The couple proceeded to swallow the hook, line & sinker.

  To be fair...these elders aren't the exception...they're the rule so to speak! One must remember that JW elders are Watchtower & Awake graduates. That should explain why they come across as enept and all-thumbs...they're spiritual clowns!😆

  it's no wonder that many people say this organization is inspired and influenced from Satan the Devil because its attempt to divide people from Jesus Christ and his teachings
