I'm not sure how to define, "favorite" because I've watched and enjoyed pretty everything on this thread.
I guess the movies with the greatest rewatch value (For me, anyhow) are the ones with quirky characters, accents and expressions that are fun to imitate
In no particular order or genre:

Just though I'd try to resurrect this thread.
My favourite genre is horror so here's all the horror films that I own. Yes I know a few aren't really horror movies but I've included them because they have a strong horror element. I've also included the dates in brackets to help distinguish from sequels or remakes.

Almost forgot - another of my favorite scary movies is What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford & Michelle Pfeiffer - creepy ass movie, keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Also I forgot to put in my top 10 list of comedy movies - Wedding Crashers with Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughan . Hilarious scenes , especially at the dinner table with the congressmen's dysfunctional family. Wife and I die laughing every time we watch this movie. Just some suggestions ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Thanks Diogenesister, although TBH the zombie subgenre is the one subgenre of horror that I haven't seen much of - the films with zombies that I own are The Evil Dead and Shaun of the Dead. It's a shame that I've seen none of George A. Romero's films - not one!
Perhaps I should buy one of his films.
Also I'm interested in Wes Craven's The Serpent and the Rainbow - not really a zombie film, it's a voodoo film, shot in either Haiti or the Dominican Republic. RIP Wes Craven, he knew how to make a good horror film.

Yes, there are some very good films you have there. Jaws is great ... The Silence of the Lambs is fantastic - Hopkins is superb but so is Jodie Foster. The scenes between Lecter and Starling are great.
I've never seen What Lies Beneath ... perhaps I should check it out.

Magnum
The Ring (2002) scared the heck out of me. I am not a small guy and that little girl terrified me. I was literally scared to go outside at night for a while after watching it.
And, I agree with those above who listed Jaws. Very well done with no high-end special effects. The setting (quaint, little community), the characters... it was just a good movie.
And, Predator, dang, that was good. Loved all the characters, the jungle setting, the story, the acting, the suspense, the terror,..... Very well done.

LOVEUNI- If you're a Anthony Hopkins fan a couple movies we have with him that I totally recommend watching are : " Instinct " with Anthony Hopkins & Cuba Gooding Jr. and another titled " The Human Stain " with Anthony Hopkins, Nicole Kidman, Gary Sinise, and Ed Harris- riveting drama . Those two movies are really good. Both keep you on the edge of your seat . Take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper
