I am glad to have found the true religion

If you have the 'true religion' today, what was it 10 years ago when the teachings were different?
What will it be in 10 years time when the teachings have largely changed again?

Along with all other JW's you can ignore the factual evidence which disproves the Watchtower's claim of being led by God and you can pretend to yourself that all is well - closing your eyes and ears every time you encounter a rule that's not scriptural, a teaching that makes no sense, a flip-flop back to an old teaching, a scandal which makes you no different to any other group.

If you wish to have your every decision made for you, made to believe everything you are told, untold and retold, give your time, energy and money to people who would cast you aside for merely questioning them, then you are perfectly free to do so. History tells us that there are always willing and fervent adherents to every kind of religion and you have found one that suits you and your non-enquiring mind.

Well done, I sincerely hope that you have a happy life.
As for me, I prefer to follow the advice of the scriptures instead of handing my thinking abilities over to complete strangers who have proven records of being deceitful:

"Do not put YOUR trust in nobles" - Psalm 146:3
"The naive person believes every word, But the shrewd one ponders each step." Proverbs 14:15
"when he entered the house Jesus got ahead of him by saying: "What do you think, Simon?" -Mt 17:25
Jesus asking them "What do YOU think?" - Matthew 18:12; 21:28
"You must love Jehovah your God with ... your whole mind." - Matthew 22:37
"Now the latter were more noble-minded than those in Thes·sa·lo·ni'ca, for they received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures" (Ac 17:11)
"keep testing whether you are in the faith " 2Co 13:5
"present your bodies...a sacred service with your power of reason" Ro 12:1
"think so as to have a sound mind" - Romans 12:3
"go on perceiving what the will of Jehovah is" Eph 5:17
"make sure of the more important things" Php 1:10
"make sure of all things" 1Thes 5:21
"we request of YOU not to be quickly shaken from YOUR reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter as though from us" 2Th 2:1, 2
"Ponder over these things; be absorbed in them" 1 Timothy 4:15
"God gave us not a spirit of cowardice, but that of power and of love and of soundness of mind." 2Tim 1:7
"I am arousing YOUR clear thinking faculties by way of a reminder" 2Pe 3:1
"test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God" 1Jo 4:1
"he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one" 1Jo 5:20

Sounds like A Believer is making an attempt at satire.

    @ A Believer,

    You're not baptized!?

    what are you waiting for?

why won't you show your face or use your real name?

are you afraid? what are you afraid of?

Hahaha A Believer, you are too funny. Two things:

-If you have "looked at the facts" and determined that the Watchtower religion is the correct one for you, then go on. There are a few JW forums that might better suited for you, for instance jwtalk.

-By continuing to chat with us "wolves", you are going against the rules of Jehovah and thus you too might not be there "when his day comes that is near"

The countless BILLIONS of years Jehovah spent dealing with hundreds of millions of spirit creatures would certainly give us a clearer understanding of how he operates in comparison to the mismatched, measly 2,000 year period the article refers to would it not? So how did Jehovah deal with his creation for countless billions of years? Daniel’s vision into heaven at Daniel 7:10 tells us “There were a thousand thousands that kept MINISTERING to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand that kept standing right before him.” “Ministering” as used here denotes a performing of a service. This is also in harmony with Psalms 103:20, 21 “Bless Jehovah, O you angels of his, mighty in power, carrying out his word, by listening to the voice of his word. Bless Jehovah, all you [angelic] ARMIES of his, you MINISTERS of his, doing his will.” Notice the angels are referred to as “angelic armies”. When you think of the word “army” what do you think of? “Army” is defined as: “any body of persons organized for any purpose”. So for these untold millions of angels to carry out an endless array of tasks under the direction of Jehovah God, organization is required. This is not an opinion, this is 100% scriptural, as I have shown. So we know Jehovah deals with the angels in an organized, orderly way. Hence, the reference “Jehovah OF ARMIES.” But what about the earth?

Shortly after Adam and Eve’s rebellion in the Garden of Eden, Jehovah made a very interesting statement. Genesis 3:15 says “And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.” Through the 1600 years the Bible was written this seed became revealed as Jesus Christ and his anointed brothers. If there was no organized nation of Israelites, and no organized group of Christ’s followers called “Christians”, it would have been impossible for this detailed and specific outworking of this prophecy to have come to fruition. So by dismissing the importance of organization opposers show great disrespect to Jehovah who is “a God, not of disorder” (1 Corinthians 14:33) and his way of fulfilling his prophecies. It’s been proven beyond a doubt that Jehovah for the overwhelming majority of his contact with his creation has used organization, in heaven, or on earth.

Noah and the Faithful slave are a lot in a lot of ways. Both say to be of God and everyone ignores them and calls them foolish old men. But the result will be the same.

A Believer, listen to me. You need to go confess to the elders that you've been chatting with apostates. This makes you guilty of a serious sin before the eyes of your wonderful God Jehovah. They might establish a judicial committee against you, but if you tell them that you love Jehovah enough, they might not disfellowship you. You should confess right away, so that the wonderful Jehovah might not slaughter you at Armageddon.

A believer, watch the scientology special by Leah Remini, and then examine what is said here, and what you consider "sad" as those who continue to go to the KH because of the fear of losing family.

If you choose to keep the wool over your eyes and ignore what is happening, then that is your own choice. But if you decide to remove the wool, you will no longer have a choice. The Watchtower makes sure of that.

Sad is to put blinders on, to refuse to even hear or learn, what is really happening. Sad is to be totally mind controlled, and blindly follow a group of uninspired men that make up doctrine change it frequently, yet demand complete obedience. If there is no immediate compliance with hierarchy, or questioning of anything that the uninspired men say, then there is abusive mental, and physical shunning; breaking up of families and friendships.

Remember the warning the Bible give us of this type of behavior? Look it up, read the entire chapter, not just a verse
