One elder in our congregation “studied “ with a woman and her kids along with his wife. The wife was a very stunning former Gileadite. The elder was a fat bald homely man. Somehow, he got this Bible student into bed and carried a sexual relationship with her. He got publicly reproved and his wife immediately divorced him. Within a year or so, she simply left the “Truth”.To this day I will never understand how this ugly elder could’ve ever bedded anyone else other than his beautiful wife.

Many years ago my ex-wife happened to pass me in the grocery store with her new fellow. He could fit your elder description to a tee. She had the lack of intelligence to ask me, "So, what do you think about "Joe"?" I told her, "He must be hung like a horse. There is nothing else that any woman would find attractive!" HA!

For all the years I was a JW , I found that most congregations seemed to have at least one resident "pervy elder" , as the sisters used to call them. Sometimes they were a bit too "touchy feely" with the sisters - just a bit creepy ( often more than "just a bit" ).
Usually just a boring middle aged guy in a sexless , loveless marriage.

I was 'hit on' by several elders wives----------back in the day! Wow the 70's were something.
