Try telling the judge that the parent should have done a better job of protecting their child.
If you had a document that proved you knew in advance that the dog was a danger to children the court would be right to demand that you hand it over.

It's a Pandora's Box. Say the names of some who were actually innocent of any child abuse were to be released to the public domain. Countersuits would proliferate. Releasing ALL of the names of any who might POSSIBLY have once been suspected of wrongdoing would be wrong. Maybe the focus should be on the "clergy class," the elders, ministerial servants and other titled members who abused their authority when it came to children.
IMO there is a lot of emotional response that clouds clear thinking on this issue. Every organization in the world has its' secrets. Yes, the Watchtower has been a molester's paradise. Well, I can think of at least one very famous example ( I'm sure there are more ) of the idiot elders who were in Candace Conti's old congregation who actually ASSIGNED an adult Jonathan Kendrick to work with a young 10 year old Candace Conti ALONE , so your theory has many holes in it. Then he took her back to his house and molested her.
Bottom line is elders in JW congregations are following direction from the WT legal department in PREVENTING police authorities from getting FIRST access to ANY JW child abuse cases - because they instruct the elders to report to WT legal FIRST ! Which is a crime in and of itself. Because THEN it allows more needless time to go by before police can do their investigative work into each and every child abuse case. And wasted time is something that a molested child cannot afford. Meanwhile Joe freaking pedophile keeps molesting the children while WT legal delays the child abuse case by their controlling financial " hush money " wrangling to keep everybody quiet. It's just disgusting.
Until WT Society finally gives instructions INSISTING that elders contact police authorities FIRST before ANYTHING else- the WT Society's child abuse policies will remain ineffective and disgustingly criminal
