Copy/Paste for anyone interested:
17 What about the propriety of brothers wearing a beard? The Mosaic Law required men to wear a beard. However, Christians are not under the Mosaic Law, nor are they obliged to observe it. (Lev. 19:27; 21:5;Gal. 3:24, 25) In some cultures, a neatly trimmed beard may be acceptable and respectable, and it may not detract at all from the Kingdom message. In fact, some appointed brothers have beards. Even so, some brothers might decide not to wear a beard. (1 Cor. 8:9,13; 10:32) In other cultures or localities, beards are not the custom and are not considered acceptable for Christian ministers. In fact, having one may hinder a brother from bringing glory to God by his dress and grooming and his being irreprehensible.—Rom. 15:1-3;1 Tim. 3:2, 7.
So, in reality, its gonna be up to the local God squad to decide if you are allowed to wear your beard and get so called privileges.

Why don't they give specific examples of these so called "cultures", where in beards would be the equivalent of practically tattooing a swastika on your forehead.
Its so ridiculous, really. Like most of their "stands", they cowardly double talk, and blur the message. Its left up to "interpretation", but interpretation by WHO. The dipshits who are in "charge". Who decides whats acceptable, and what "culture" accepts it or not.
I can see the Elder in charge of congregation "A", "demonizing" beards, because HE cant grow one, and has a newborn baby peach fuzz on his face. Then Elder in charge of congregation "B", will have no problem with beards, and look down on the less "manly" brothers who don't where a beard to resemble Jesus.
Its all the same shit, you CAN take this part of blood, but NOT that, you CAN wear a beard here, but NOT there. HYPOCRATES.

<insert sarcasm> Somebody needs to fill in tight pants Tony on the gay agenda that overtook the society in Rutherford's time to have all men shave their beards so as to be more feminine. He is going on about tight pants but he still shaves his face. Once he catches up, then beards and baggy pants will be mandatory.

Cultures? Is that a code word for 'not applicable to this congregation(tm)?
No doubt the pompus old windbag CO's will still ban beards from the platform.
The WBT$ have failed to look appealing, fluffy and down with the kids yet again. This is just vague and littered with scriptures to make it seem important.
Until one of the paedophile protecting rock star popes grows a beard, then they will still be unofficially banned unless there is money for them involved.
For WBT$, look at North Korea. All the men have their hair like their clown of a leader................same thing in the WBT$. Cowardly copycates.
Rant over.

You all have it wrong...
You see, Beard Fractions are acceptable in some cases. However in other cases, partaking in the wearing of beards is not acceptable.
See, that clears it up!

Please please read this: (it is on the WT CD-ROM) trousers not beards ...
8. If slacks or pantsuits for women are frowned upon by many in the community, likely some different style of apparel for public dress would be advisable for a Christian sister. During cold weather ...( blah blah ). But in frigid climates, where everyone in the community wears clothing appropriate to the weather, such as slacks, surely it is proper for Christian women to do the same. In some places, pioneers have been aided thus to maintain robust health for putting in long hours in service. (blah blah)... The elders should not seek to impose their own preferences on others but likely are in position to offer advice on what might be acceptable in their respective communities...
Q p.8 How can a sister tell whether it would be appropriate for her to wear pantsuits or slacks in her community?
WT 15th August 1975, page 500 para. 8
So here we are, 41 years later in loony dubland with internal social pressure stopping sisters wearing trousers anywhere outside of the North Pole!
And what will elders do over the next few months? Spend hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours debating whether to apply anything new in regard to beards while more of us slip away from their grip. Hooray!!!
Rant over.
