It was the dumbest lesson considered for some time. It was paragraph 11 or 12 ( I think ) that was the dumbest. It stated that once we are in the "New World" we will have proof that our keeping awake was worth the effort. Something about the wording was just so, so incredibly stupid. So stupid that I can't really process it right now.

Perhaps I was dumbfounded because I know TTATT. The WTBTS saying, "When the predictions that we make based on pure speculation and 1914 come true, then you will know that we were right." So, there's zero evidence to support their prognostications, and you will have to wait for the evidence to appear after the fact. It hurts my brain to have to read something so stupid and think about how to explain why it's so wrong. I shouldn't have to do that.

Then there was the picture of the old sister at the door. The WTBTS is basically saying, "Yeah, you're gonna die."

I see what they are doing they are doing, (possibly)

This is actually a new light adjustment to address the issue that statistically speaking conditions in the world have improved since 1914.

The "signs of the last days" will now be an invisible sign that only true WT christians will know are occurring.

So, no need for a "sign" at all really. They can keep this shit going indefinitely .

× I apologize for that spazzy first sentence in my previous post. (No, I'm not drinking alcohol at the mo.)

Just needed to say that. Carry on

Doesn't Revelations say Jesus will come in a cloud, and every eye will see him? Of course he wants everyone to be saved! Guess they forgot that one in their quest to be special.

I had a sister tell me that people will only see Jesus coming with their "mental eyes" lol.

I thought, yeah, you got the "mental" part right!

Yeah, that was always the part that baffled me too. It says clearly in the bible that ''every eye will see him''. But the Borg always publishes how ''he has come invisibly'', all that invisible stuff. It doesn't say anywhere about Christ coming invisibly. I could never get my head around that.
