Except when my son's in the car, I've pretty much been listening to the same music I have for the past 40 years. Some of which is older than me. There were some new Stones and new Robert Plant albums this year.
Love that the Guardians of the Galaxy are using all of that old, cool music even if it isn't all Classic Rock. And that the latest Thor movie used a Zeppelin song!

JWS- Exactly. I hear you. I listen to a wide variety of music , but I find the late 1960's era and 1970's time period produced some real gems indeed. I listen to a lot of Bob Marley too, reggae, and once again his best stuff from the 1970's time period. Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer , Rolling Stones , Pink Floyd, Late 1960's Beatles stuff - especially Abbey Road & the White Album. Lots of that stuff still appeals to me 40 - 50 years later ! I'm a big Tom Waits fan as well when he does real bluesy stuff. Mostly a fan of his stuff from like 1983 onward though. Not into lounge lizard crooner stuff
