"Again, this focus on high production quality over actual changes in content is what is plaguing WT right now and he’s falling into the same repeating cycle."

Please tell me more about this, if you don't mind. I want to make an exjw video for the deaf. My "competition" is Watchtower's, extravantly well-funded, video center in Florida.

His equipment is top notch. On the Ramacro video he had expensive movie quality spotlights which give his appearance almost a glow-like quality. He probably has 8K cameras, the picture is fairly sharp. Of course it's not like he did any manual labour for this. It was all funded through donations.

Big dent on the wall and no wedding ring. Also, still ugly.

    "Big dent on the wall"

That's some fine detective work. Maybe is we slow the video down we may also be able to find a leaf that he tracked in and 'expose' that too.

If you're going to produce videos, you should angle the camera so that you don't have a huge dent in the frame every time. Or take some of that fancy equipment budget and patch it up. But either way, it's hugely distracting, like having a sink full of dirty dishes behind you.

Every wall in my house has something wrong with it. Lol.

Thanks for the equipment report, LMsA.

On the WT deaf videos front,... “On November 14, 2014, Jehovah’s Witnesses began relocating their American Sign Language (ASL) translation team to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from the Watchtower Educational Center in Patterson, New York.” ...quoting the org.

Watchtower has gone “all out” to dominate the “deaf videos” scene. My guess is that “helping the deaf” bolsters Watchtower’s claim to some tax exemption. We know that Watchtower isn’t interested in “helping the deaf”, any more than they want to help the rest of humankind.

P.S. I did laugh at Betty Humpter’s post. :) That’s a typical Judge Judy facial expression, btw,... for those who don’t see her on TV.

Does anyone know if Leah Remini or Mike Rinder has said anything publicly about this situation going on with Lloyd Evans now? It would be interesting to know how they feel about this situation,

I would not be surprised if they aren't aware of it. Evans is a big fish in a very small pond. I doubt he has any reach beyond that, and his recent efforts don't seem promising. I also wonder if anyone from those shows/podcasts who have dealt with him found him to be as unpleasant as so many in the exJW community did. He might be better off if they have forgotten him.

With Lloyds track record I really don't want to have the mental image as to why there is a dent in said wall!

There were a lot of people tagging Leah and Rinder in tweets when this all went down but I don't remember seeing them addressing it. He also retweets them so they obviously haven't blocked him.

I can't agree that they wouldn't be aware, Remini said that the whole reason she brought JWs on for their own episode of Aftermath is because so many were tweeting her and begging for it, saying the religions are so similar. (Obviously she's tuned in to social media) She also did a phone interview with Lloyd after her show was cancelled so they were all in touch somehow after that one episode.

I'm thinking they probably don't care enough to respond. I heard there were a lot of people trying to warn them before the show itself about his bad behavior but... crickets, obviously.

I also can't remember Steve Hassan or Richard Kelly saying anything...?
