  I have a question . Does anybody knows how he was able to weasel himself on the Leah Remini TV special? I doubt he was one ,of many ex-jw , asking her to look into the Watchtower . And if I remember correctly most of the panel guest were all Americans. So how does a small little youtuber ,who does is video in a infested moldy Basement . in the middle of nowhere in Croatia , ended up on that show? . Also O.M.G that poor producer , who had to deal with that "DIVA " , with all is demands ,hissy fit , and he wouldn't STFU during the interview

  He’s a blagger par excellence, that’s why. It doesn’t speak well of the Remini show, or the commission in London for that matter, that he was accepted as a relevant person to include. But it happens. Our last prime minister in the UK was wholly unqualified and reportedly got into position purely by blagging - and the PM before that too, arguably. It’s reminiscent of the now famous tirade about “talentless people” in power by the disaffected Tory MP Charles Walker at the height to the Liz Truss fiasco.

  I suspect, even when LE gets down to like 100 patrons, he’ll still be doing it, because it’s free money practically, so from his point of view, as long as people are still willing to send him money, why not take it? He’ll probably scale back his effort but still take the money, his idea of keeping it “sustainable”.

  I only pay for one one channel on YouTube and that mythvision because I think Derek does very good interviews, he’s respectful to the scholars he interviews, and I like him. I don’t share his beliefs but I have respect for his approach. I am sorry he had a break with Dr Bob Price a few months ago, but I think that was more Dr Price’s fault than Derek. Plus I think Derek has made efforts to patch it up. 👍

  I have also made one off donations to Novara media on YouTube because I think they have the best news analysis on YouTube. But those are the only cases I have paid YouTube creators. Nothing JW related.

  Didn't he say sometime back that his videos would always be free? I think it was when he was crowdfunding for the book or something, and people first started an uproar over him charging for his activism. That was something he used to defend himself, like the backbone of his so-called "activism" would always be out of the kindness of his heart. Now he's got special "members only" videos and livestreams lined up for paying customers. Add that to his list of lies.

  What does Lloyd have to say about Watchtower that hasn't already been said? If you have to pay someone to be your friend, they're not your friend. The latest moves by Lloyd shows his audience is much smaller and he has to go after every last bit of money that he can get from them. I would be very curious if any of this will represent a significant new revenue stream.
