JWville loves to instill fear, that is how they maintain an oh so tight grip!

Even tho Jesus so lovingly gave the illustration of the father who throws a feast for his son full of sin is in the Bible, the WT spin doctor spins it again, throwing water on hope "we don't know if the son had repented", or "maybe the dad was ahead of himself" (those aren't quotes, they are examples of spins the WT could use, I dont have time to look it up)

Nope, your brother won't die at Armageddon, he will die from the cruelty and ULTIMATE waste.... of... life, living, happiness and freedom from cult mind control.

Scientology says that if you don't follow THEIR teachings.. Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, Moonies, Seventh Day Adventists, Jews, all have different criteria for "making it"

Religion. A snare and a racket, indeed.

These are all really good points and now makes me think. If JW believe everything as the Bible wrote, then where in the Bible does it mention disfellowship? As far as I am concerned, it doesn’t. The reason for disfellowship is because they need to keep the congregation clean from sin.

Why be reinstated into a cruel cult?

    No...he's toast.》

Precisely Stan. Exactly; you've captured the organization's response cryptically and accurately.

Fortunately for Az's brother, Jesus doesn't abide by the organization's heritical views or dictates.

Yes. Take your ticket to ''freedom'' and run.

you worry too much. everyone can pray to Jehovah God, through Jesus Christ, regardless of whether they are disfellowshipped or not.

Jehovah God reads hearts and notices if we are working in line with our prayers.

the congregation will get the benefit of associating with your brother again, when he is reinstated. until then, i suggest he associates with Jehovah and stays close to him ❤️

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

at Op the JWs in their FAQS states those who will be saved rest squarely in the hands of JESUS. JWs and NON JWs under consideration. Reinstated or not reinstated counts for NOTHING.

This reminds of an illustration given in ISoCF a brother who got disfellowshipped for fornication. He went ahead to marry the lady had a good life and well respected in his community. Do you know JWs cannot associate with him based on the fact that he has not bowed to the elders to reinstate him?

What about the smart and hidden sinners in the CONG. Will they be saved simply because they are smart at not getting caught and thereby not disfellowshipped?

Man made rules, man made promises, man made salvation, man made religion.

When I was an elder , the only way I could cope with the responsibility of judgment to disfellowship people was when I reasoned that salvation still lay in the hands of God alone. All that we were doing was denying congregation fellowship with the person.. nothing more.

We always reckoned that when the day came, there would be some big surprises as to who had made it ... (and that was when I was still a Witness)
