As it appears no one on this thread has actually ever met someone who has asked to be addressed by another pronoun than he or she it seems the chances of criminalisation are zero.

I disagree. The left isn't trying to sell moderates anything other than that they too are all part of the extreme right - simply (usually) by being a white male, they are supposedly racist, homophobic, oppressive, privileged, misogynistic rapists-to-be.
The right sells them the message that the left are looney and you don't need to put up with being called names and labelled.
Who are the poor white people to believe? Who do you think they believe? Throw in some rhetoric about Islam where one side seems to speak openly and honestly about a threat and the other refuses to even call the obvious what it is and you have the election that just happened.
That is why the right wins and the left has just thrown 50 years of progress down the pan. But hey, maybe the "Xir" crowd will be happy as long as the internment camp guards call them the right name.

I don't doubt they could be found, but quite frankly why not take the good old "don't feed the trolls" approach (if they appear to not be genuine) and get on with life?
Universities, being full of young people who are seeking a single answer to anything, has always housed extreme opinions. I think this is a very, very minor issue to get upset compared to other events.

I think it is possible to find many on the left who does not condone that behaviour at all. Here is what I mean:

But so what? insofar as my experience tells me, these SJWs are mostly found in videos about crazy SJWs, often in a setting where some form of monetary benefit is involved for the person who made the video..
That does not make their opinions less fringe or crazy, but I think it is a problem that is being blown out of context.

I did not say that I refuse to use Ms. I said - "I have never referred to anybody as Ms in my life, I have also never referred to a man as Mx and never will."
I have never been asked to refer to somebody as Ms. I'm amused that you would presume to declare my opinions on anything "unacceptable".
After watching the video, I had to reconsider my position. These guys (LGBT/SJW) are not helping their cause. They are asking for more Donald Trumps to be raised.
