The funny thing is I don't miss them. After spending my whole life in this religion, I feel absolutely no attachment to it.....I wonder why.
Now that you mention it ... I felt the same. It's funny, I never really thought of it in the exact same way. but it's so true. No attachment, no regrets. It's a good thing.

My daughter just told me that she's very uncomfortable to go to the family party that will feature all Witnesses along with her "worldly' fiancee.....Such worries.

Today I had a brother come by my work to tell me he "misses me, very much". He asked me why I stopped going and I gave him a "look" and then he said, "You don't have to answer that" to which I replied,"Yeah, I'll keep that one to myself.....So, how's the family doing??....."........They're suddenly realizing we're not going back.
