Estee--trust me dearie, I know what that is like!!

It's hard to be "political" around those who disagree, and usually so vehemently. I think politics get so heated because big moral questions always seem to be on the line.

Anyway--I hope you seriously reconsider and continue to at least follow politics. Then when you become more confident, which you will, voice your opinion as loudly as you want--and don't take no crap from no one!!

I'm sorry you felt bad about voicing your opinion tho--that's not right.

    Mulan,

I am curious why if you were here in California would you support Davis? Only because he is a democrat?

There has been no one in California ever to destroy it like he has. Do they not talk about this in the Northwest? The energy crisis, which will last us 10 more years at least. The largest deficit we have ever had. Completely lied to the public about the bad shape we are in.

Lets see, how about the car registration that he passed illegally and now has tripled it. Someone who used to pay $150 a year to register their car, now has to pay $450.

And here is a whopper. Giving a drivers license to illegal aliens. The Department of Motor Vehicles has been swamped the last week, with 3 to 5 times as many people standing in line....... all so they can get their license. They were coming up from Mexico. And the law actually wont start until January. Now a terrorist can go get a drivers license.

The only way he won the votes last time, is he did not talk about his lack of accomplishments. Instead, all he can do is to try to bash the others in the race.

Regardless of political affiliation, this man in a menace, and is destroying our state. He is finished. There is no reason to keep this guy in office, other than those who simply vote democratic just for the sake of doing so.

Now, if we can just keep Bustamante from getting the job.

Davis and Bustamonte are idiots. I dont think people outside of California realize that California Democrats are much further left than the rest of their party.

Currently California is ranked 49 in business friendly states if bustamonte gets elected it will drop to 50. My family runs a small business (13 employees) thanks to the more than doubling of the workers comp tax, we can no longer give raises. And we are activly trying to find ways to reduce headcount.

If our business tanks my entire extended family is looking to move out of california, its getting that bad. Producers and workers are leaving California leaving just government workers and section 8 cases.

I don't think you should talk about sex, politics or religion here.

And don't mention the war, I did, but I think I got away with it

Yes, I do vote. Federally, Provincially and during our Civic elections.

I have a sign on my balconey window, and a sticker on my outside door.

Feels good to vote, and have a say, rather than not voting, and have someone else decide for me.

It sure feels great to vote [x]

    Nope,

    I don't vote...politics doesn't interest me at all.

Yes. I lean towards being a Democrat. I am also Pro-Choice. I don't remember anyone asking but ok..thanks for sharing

But..............if I were in California, I would be supporting Gov. DavisYou support Davis? YIKES! That guy is a complete and miserable failure. The other night the Dems were calling Bush a failure...they need to look at California to see what a failure looks like.

Phantom, I've always had political views. I just didn't voice them amongst JW's. You see, depending upon which Watchtower you read, JW's are not supposed to vote or get involved in politics. And since I am in the process of drifting away with my family, registering to vote is not high on my list at the moment....but that may change in due time......And yes, I think you can whine, whether you vote or not.

This surprises me! I'm not jabbing at you, it just surprises me!

Until the past year, I did not have the urge to vote. But with the recent events in my city, and other issue's with this country, I might register to vote this year. I do not whine about politics, I feel if you don't vote, don't complain, if you want to complain, then do something about it.
