Obiwan,

Of course I vote...
Cut Obiwan a little slack. Remember, he puts up some great JLo and Anna K pics on this site.
Sometimes it's hard to tell on a computer screen...sorry!
Never voted. The politicians are all crooks and we never know what is going on behind the scenes. I have never seen one that I considered honest.
Having said that, someone has to look after the impossible task of running the country and they are probably doing a better job than I would. I may vote in the future if I don't die first.

I remember after 9-11, the elders were cautioning people to be careful of not getting "involved" in any politics. They were reminded to "remain neutral".
Yes...I voted for the first time in the Clinton run. I got snagged (or had the privilege!) of jury duty duty, and am sure it was due to that...I didn't vote in the last presidential election, didn't like either Bush or Gore, and I didn't think they were worth risking jury duty.
Just got my California registration card in the mail today. Getting Gray Davis out IS worth risking getting jury duty. This loser's got to go.
Blacksheep,
Good for you...and I concur with your stated goal of ousting Grey Out Davis. I've been registered to vote for 21 years and have yet to be called for Jury Duty.

Maybe it was just a fluke, but my husband registered last election and got called very shortly thereafter. I didn't. Maybe just a theory; maybe a regional thing.
No matter. I'd sit on jury duty for a year if it meant getting Davis outl.
Yes I am a registered voter of Minnesota. Since 1983. No I don't get involve with politics.

Not only do I vote (I am a B.C. Separatist), the provincial government here is forming a constituency association to examine electoral reform, and I am hoping to be selected to serve on that committee. Our system is modelled on the British Parliamentary System, but unfortunately it is a very poor and sloppy copy, one which discriminates against a huge number, often the majority, of constituents. Hopefully any reforms will address these problems. Then the challenge will be to speak to these same issues on a federal level.
