I'm so sorry things are getting tougher instead of better. I think the best thing you can do for yourself AND your dad is to send out all the love you have for him to keep him company now and to accompany him to wherever it is that we go when we die. I happen to believe that he will be able to sense the outpouring in some way, and would also advise you to try to be aware of the love he pours back to you once he's freed from his earthly prison.
(and forget those dubbies. )
