Yes, we have already had so much rain that our ground is very saturated. Also, we have had this Spring/Summer (on a smaller scale) flooding and mudslides but nothing to equal what we had in Sep. 1996 (Fran? I think.)
Any forum members being affected by Hurricane Isabelle..is everybody safe?

The cool part is that if the Canadian Bethel needs help from community resources as a result of the storm, guess who they will need to work with? heh heh heh
hahaha, too funny
Hope that you all stay safe over the next few days. (yes, even here in Oz we have heard about the hurricane)

Here is New Jersey we are in a watch and wait mode.
Took all the lawn furniture and bikes inside yesterday, just in case. Just hoping that the kid's trampoline (which is tied down) doesn't make wings and fly away.

I'm here in North Carolina, and fine for the moment. They have cancelled my childrens schools for the day. It's raining now, but we're not expecting the strong winds to hit for three or four more hours. I'm a little nervous!!

I'm in South Carolina.
I know it's awful to say........but soooooooooo glad it didn't hit here. I went through Hugo as a yankee transplant - it was terrible.
Our business has been so slow this week - we're auto accessories. I think people figure to wait - because it was over a year before all "Hugo cars" could be fixed.
Whoever's gonna get this one - no matter how strong or weak the winds - Take Care!

Here in Western New York we are already on a flood watch. We will not know until 4 p.m. how much rain we are going to get. The worse part is that the eastern half of the nation is already saturated because of all the rain we have had this summer....I am sure my basement will be flooded. I hope everyone in NC are ok.
