I think we have a little misunderstanding; comedian is someone who tells jokes, that's a list of actors.. oh hang on... Jacky Chan and Jim Carrey are sometimes funny and mean to be... Brad is just funny sometimes...

Sig is an uberwoman (pant), as is Jody...

Sheesh Tale!!! No cable OR comedy clubs--what rock do you live under??

Lewis Black is great--he's on the Daily Show every wednesday--(not that you have cable! ) He is a lot of current events type humor--HILLARIOUS stuff! He does have some CD's available but I have never heard them, I have only seen him in person once. http://www.lewisblack.net/

Dave Attell is also on Comedy Central--he has a show called Insomniac, which he has a DVD out of-the best of, and you can probably rent it at the video store. Mr. No Cable!

Maria Bamford is orginally from Duluth Minnesota--WOOO MINNESOTA! But she also has a 1/2 hour on Comedy Central that they play every once and a while. She is awesome! I have gotten to see her a couple times now in person. Her voice alone is hillarious!!

Laura Kightlinger was on saturday night live one season. Blink to fast and you might miss her. She has several specials on comedy central and HBO.

Nick Swardson is also from Minnesota, but also has a special on Comedy Central. (Dude you so need cable!!) His bit about what he's going to be like when he gets old is HILLARIOUS!

Dane Cook...yet another comedy central comic. He does have several audio cd's out too if your interested

    http://www.comedycentral.com/standup/central/detail.jhtml?p=/comedians/c/dane_cook.xml

Stephen Lynch sings really wicked and evil songs--it's no wonder why I love him so much. I have one of his cd's.

Also thanks to some posters have some I forgot!

    Lenny Bruce--oh my god--classic! I can't believe I forgot him!!

    And Wanda Sykes-Hall!

Sorry folks none of these so called comedians tickle a rib in Australia ..

Here we have everything from Roy Slaven and HG Nelson bombarding our airwaves with rib cracking live sport coverage ... the subtle comedy of mick malloy and dozens of other household names unheard of off the island.

In Australia we like our comedy with grunt (i mean when did Bob Hope attack the church, the government or any of the myriad high and mighty edifices overiding our lives and inviting parody and satire?

    jeez - keep it real!

    frenchbabyface:

I have to ask something; my girlfriend and I went to France on holiday this year; 2 weeks in Pierre sur Mere, near Narbonne. Beautiful weather. lovely campsite.

Obviously there is as much variation in the way French women look as the rest of the world; some are distractingly attractive, most are noramlly attractive, etc..

However, there is very much a 'look' that a lot of the French girls (or at least the ones I notice) go for.

It is the pouty-lipped sultry ticking sex-bomb with a wonderful sense of disenchanted enuii. Makes a man wonder what they look like with a smile on their face... if you know what I mean.

Is this a plan by French women to reduce Frenchmen (and any other men who get in their path) to abject sexual slavery? Do you get lessons on who to do 'the look'? Or are Frenchmen so boring that that is what a woman looks like when you are surrounded by them?
