My dream would be for world peace . To see an end to human suffering . Traveling around the world in a rock band would be pretty cool also . I am very surprised to hear a french lady complain about not being in a passionate romance while living in france . I thought france was the home of lovers . What is your facination with arizona? BTW It is pretty nice but of all the places in the world you pick arizona ? I would think the french riveara would be the happening place.

What a neat thread! (I think this is the most I have ever really learned about some posters here)

For me...(in order of importance)

Someone to share my life with, who respects me, loves me, stimulates me, challenges me, and accepts me. (Ditto for me toward him)
Lots of friends around me.
Being excellent in my profession. Getting recognition from my peers, and just getting lots of satisfaction from my work--even if I don't get recognition.
Lots of travel!
A house by some body of water. Ocean would be best, would settle for a pond.
A sailboat (because I can damnit!)
Lots of people who will miss me when I am gone

Why I love ARIZONA - first because I went there, and to me it is one of the most beautiful place on earth ... one of my choice !!! nothing to do with France SORRY NOTHING !!! Some place are wonderfull here, but some places in ARIZONA are MAJESTIC (when I want to remember the places, I watch the movie "MAVERICK" (with Joddie Foster and Mel Gibson), another choice would be "CANADA"."NEW ZELAND", "AUSTRALIA", ?KENIA?, ?VIETNAM?, "PERU", "MONGOLIA", (question of landscape ? I?m surrounded by buildings here!!!)

Oh sweet FRANCE and its old "clichés" ? I don't feel I'm like everybody anyway and don't need to be ? and I?m fine ? I just miss HUGS

(((Panda)))My younger sister had a problem like that (it seems that she is cured ? but don?t know how, I will ask her, it will be an occasion to talk to her also, and I will tell you ? so if it is the same problem it may help (I don?t know ? will see ? just hope she will answer to me) ...Medecine may already or will find a solution one day anyway ...

Every time I've wished for something, it has backfired and made my life miserable. I don't dream any more. Nor do I pray. I don't trust either one.

At this stage in my life, I'll take whatever comes at me and play the hand I'm dealt.

to be healty and to live our days in the hope that one day things will change for the better. Life was meant to be easy,but there is not such a thing.My dreams are simples that is be happy with what I have ,and enjoy it to the last bit,never ask for more,you will never get it,anyway. Friends? hmmmmmm,not sure,family? you have to be very lucky to see them at the door,soooo,be happy,and keep dreaming.

I've been living most of them these last three years. They were preceded by five years of shear horror!

Love to travel and meet new people. (Traveled over eight months in those three years.)

Raised my girl to responsible adulthood. (Freshman in college and going to Europe in the Spring.)

Publish my short stories, though I would like to write more. (One is used in a high school economy class).

Have a job I love and have people waiting for me to work my magic for them.(21 years).

Have some female admiration. Though I am not "in love".

As for money, I have learned that if you do what you love, and love what you do, the money takes care of itself.

Have health, and so does most of my family. (All my parents/step-parents, and brothers and sisters are living, and so are all their kids).

I guess I have two sets of dreams, one that covers the next 10-20 years and then another for the future afterwards.

In the first set:

Become a successful nonfiction writer

Do scientific research in astrophysics, geophysics, chronobiology, life extension and neuroscience.

Develop new business enterprises, innovations, and patents.

Become a global citizen, having citizenship in several countries, and own homes in Europe, Australia, Central America, and an island of my own somewhere.

Find and marry a stimulating woman who has a passion for life who is compatible with my dreams.

In the second set, I want to visit the Moon, live on and explore Mars, travel to Jupiter and explore the moons, especially Europa

I want to become superhuman by means of technological and medical advances and extend my lifespan for centuries or longer

To be able to build my dome home on my property...

To finish my new invention, and market it successfully - allowing me to spend time with someone - and live in my dome home... happily after after.

Okay, okay... maybe sounds too much like a fairy tale... but that is what I am working towards - rather than just 'dreaming'.
