    No blissisignorance but it is very high on my "lifes to do list" -- I am told Sydney in particular is a place you can never tire of -- bit like New York, London and Paris

    I was there in the late 70's on one of the wt society's world yours. I saw the insides of all of the museums in sydney, melbourne and canberra. We got about half an hour at one of the beaches. Blogody hsell! We also spent time in new zealand (north and south island), fiji, and hawaii.

    What little interaction i had in australia reminded me of my birthplace, the prairies of canada; sparsely populated and provincial.

    I got to spend a week in Sydney back in 1970. Beautiful country and very friendly people. I was in the Army and was taken aback a little that the people there welcomed us with open arms, very much unlike our own citizens did when we returned back to the US.

    When I win the lottery, I hope to visit there again.

    My 11 year old daughter went in July as part of an American delegation for 16 days. She visited the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Sidney. She specificially thought that Sidney is a beautiful, but crowded, city. She also went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.

    She loved it and hopes to visit there again, someday.

    She also thought that vegamite was gross.
