Of the dynamic duo, I usually found the Awake a bit less embarassing to show. I used to feel that the WT articles were an embarassment, especially some of the study articles. I remember hoping that the householders would not read them, lest they think we were too quacky.

    Minimus,

The next time you see her you could say something like, "You know, there is an easier way to do this. Many JWs follow this method and is especially helpful for the elderly and infirm. They don't actually waste their time out in the preaching work; they just put 10 hours on their time sheet every month. This method really works!"

    Naw, maybe not.

This experience highlights once again how distorted are the FS numbers recorded every month and highlighted in the annual report. How many "hours" does this sister turn in for what is clearly zero preaching activity compared to first century evangelism? And how common is this kind of dumbed-down activity nowadays?

Tammy, I don't want to be nasty. The truth is----all these "hours" reported for field service is Bullcrap. So, who cares if the preaching work went up or down in a certain year? It's all fake numbers, anyway.
