btw, you have to love these prosecutors patting themselves on the back for getting a guilty verdict.

I'm pretty sure I could prosecute this case and get a guilty verdict. In fact, I think the jurors went into this thinking guilty even before it started.

Lol, Maxine and Biden outright called for riots if there wasn’t a guilty verdict. Even the judge said it was sufficient grounds for an appeal.

But regardless, don’t let the facts get in the way, the media isn’t reporting on the riot currently going on in Minneapolis and even Twitter is suppressing it.

- A trucker just got attacked by BLM rioters.

- The National Guard is scrambling all over the place as large groups of rioters are setting up for nightfall.

Cops everywhere, the ones that want to stay on, will be meeting with lawyers to try to figure out what they need to do in order to stay clear of trouble like this. That might seem, on the surface, like a desirable outcome. But like with many things, you might want to think a few layers down, and try to calculate the net effects. The BLM types might think this will spur the type of police reform they want - less enforcement of law, and limits on how rough you can get with someone. But the police are trained to stay ahead of the situation, always using one level of force greater than the suspect to subdue that suspect. If putting someone on the ground is off the table, they will just escalate to shooting.

The next Chauvin will get out of the squad car with the taser drawn. Ask him to get into the back of the squad car, and when he does not comply, immediate tasing. If he shakes that off, immediate shooting. Done.

Kind of surprised at the verdict particularly when the information came out that Floyd had drugs in his system and existing heart problems.

There is certainly going to be an appeal which in my guess the charges will be lowered a bit..

I wonder was it really necessary for Chauvin to place his knee across Floyd's neck area, I'm sure placing his knee across the top of his shoulders would have worked as well.

I'm sure many police officers are going to take this situation into account when trying to restrain someone on the ground.

If he did that and Floyd still passed out, Chauvin wouldn't be going to jail for the next 10 to 15 years.
