Now the news is an AG is investigating a defense witness. Talk about witness/juror intimidation

Yeah, this is them sending a message, intimidating future potential witnesses in advance:
"Don't question the narrative or stand up to us, we will destroy your life"
This isn't justice, it's a joke.

This is nothing new. This has been baked into the judicial system since the onset. It is an illusion to think that a highly politicized case will get a normal day in court.
There is a reason why rich people tend to get away with so much and when you are poor and can't afford a good defense, you are screwed.
Why didn't those responsible for the 20008/2009 financial crisis go to prison?

Michael Jackson, O.J. Simpson, just a couple of names that come to mind.
But here's we're talking about publicity of the allegation and trial, not that the person was famous before. In this case the trial was way too politicized to be fair by any reasonable stretch of the imagination. Even the judge said so.

It depends if they committed actual crimes or not and typically, politicians don't send people who bankroll them to jail - it's bad for business, their own business.

One of the jurors just came forward and gave an interview to the media. Turns out he is a BLM activist, wearing t-shirts to convict Chauvin. But he told the judge he knew nothing about the case. -

Yet more grounds for appeal.

Just a thought ..... does it make rational sense that person would intentionally murder someone when a group of people are all around watching, including other police officers ?

Rocket man we agree. To think the cop would purposely kill a guy under those circumstances is ludicrous!
Regarding the juror, he tainted the jury pool and he lied and should be prosecuted.
