My two older teenagers are trying to get the portable basketball net down as I speak..
The Hurricane had been upgraded.. to possible 160 km/h winds...and the center will be hitting approximately 10 miles from my home.
Also, it will occur the same time as HIGH TIDE... NOT GOOD!!!
To tell you guys, the truth.. this is getting a little unnerving..

I took a trip down the Jersey Shore today, and the waves were kicking up something good. I took some pics, but they really don't do the waves justice.
I hope this works, I haven't used Simon's new picture thingy yet....

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING FOR KINGS COUNTY CONTINUED RAIN HEAVY AT TIMES WILL BEGIN THIS EVENING GIVING 50 TO 80 MILLIMETRES BY OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. HURRICANE JUAN APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTH IS FORECAST TO MAKE LANDFALL NEAR HALIFAX THIS EVENING. IT WILL THEN WEAKEN AND TRAVEL NORTHWARD CROSSING OVER PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND TONIGHT. HEAVY RAINS AND STRONG WINDS ARE FORECAST TONIGHT IN ADVANCE OF JUAN.
