Sorry to hear about your bad news. A couple of years ago I developed a prostate problem and spent a week or so waiting for biopsy results. No fun. I'm Ok at the moment, but I need to get checked every year.

Age has a way of dealing with those nasty fibroids. Menopause is good for something. I had them for years then as I got older they got smaller. I was told that I needed a hysterectomy, too, but I was too poor. When the doctor found out that I could not afford the operation he told me that the tumors usually shrink later in life. Maybe you should go to Web-MD and do some research. Doctors nowdays are not motivated by the Hypocratic oath as much as by the Lexus payment.
