I surfed on and off the game between watching this show on the history channel about Richard the Lionheart and the Crusades

Oh I know, I got hooked on it and wanted to finish watching, but two little noisemakers denied my application. Instead they condemned me to another episdoe of "The Arsenic Hour".

God -^* Bucs blew a #*&$ 21-^%#&-point lead in $-@#$%*#&$( minutes and ^%#& got #@*#$&-#*&$^-ed in the end with that #&^$-@$$ referee's call to give that #*&$-stick Tony #&$%@ Dungy a #*&^$$ second chance to @#^@% us over again.

I left Monday Night Football at the bar at the start of the 4th. Got home, we (the bucs) had the lead. I jumped in the shower. When I got out I switched the game back on and what? Overtime. What teh heck was that all about.

I watched it as well and was very surprised to see the colts pull that one off tho I think there were some questionable calls . The on side kick was something of a spectacle to watch . I'm still in shock .

Put me in the thought-it-was-over-after-the-first-half club. The Colts looked horrible, musta been an incredible halftime speech Dungy (sp?) gave.

Was it Manning that did all that? I guess he's starting to live up to the great expectations that people had for him. We'll see come playoff time.

Too bad ABC didn't keep Dan Fouts as the color man, I like him way better than Madden.

That game was definitely one in a million! Bad calls from the officials, from the didn't happen roughing the kicker call to the unsportsman like conduct for leaping (which, while technically correct is a stupid rule), added to the excitement. I love that Tony Dungy won, since his former team owners didn't appear to appreciate him much.

On the other hand, I like Gruden too, and this was a REALLY tough loss for him. I bet he lays into his guys big time about blowing a huge lead in a matter of minutes.

    Dantheman said about another "Dan":

Too bad ABC didn't keep Dan Fouts as the color man, I like him way better than Madden.

I think so too. I can see why ABC sacked Dennis Miller, but they didn't need to toss Fouts out of the booth too. ABC has been coveting Madden for years, because he brings in numbers and has a large following, and not because he's still at the top of his game.

If you're in the right area on any given Sunday, you can hear Dan Fouts do color on the CBS football broadcast. He's just as good a color commentator as he was a quarterback with the San Diego Chargers.

But for my money, the best announcing team going is the #1 FOX-TV team of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Cris Collinsworth. The booth is electric with those 3 gentlemen present!!
