Mr brother-in-law quit watching at the end of the 3rd quarter and I turned off after the Bucs went ahead by 21 again in the 4th. I could have kicked myself when I got into work today and found out what happened. I may not live to see another game like that.

PS I met Tony Dungy and his family when he was offensive co-ordinator for the Vikings, when I lived in an apartment block where another coach lived.

I liked when Tony was with the Vikings.

I know this isn't Monday night but since the Vikings were just brought up I can't help myself. They sure are making me happy this year! Woo Hoo 6/0

I agree that Tony Dungy was a great defensive coordinator and that there is no better tactician among the NFL head coaches these days (with the possible exception of Bill Parcells).

Tony could have been head coach of the Vikings -- but they chose to go whereever Denny Green was taking them. Oh well.

Now the team is 6-0 and is finally gaining grudging admiration from people outside Minnesota. This IS a good team, but they still scare me sometimes. They almost shut it down today against Denver after gaining a 28-7 lead, but still hung on to win 28-20.

So -- which team will make it out of the NFC to go to the Super Bowl?

I sure hope it is the Vikes. This next weekend I am worried about. They play the Giants and as we all know, they aren't doing so well this year. Seems to me, the past although different team structure, has shown them to have a pattern of beating the teams no one expected them to beat and losing to teams that lost to everyone else. I fear that they think it will be an easy win and not be psyched like they should. And secondly, the Giants are my bf's team and I'm not looking forward to him being unhappy with me as I scream at the game for my team. I am thinking we will each go to a separate sports bar to watch the game. It might keep our relationship healthier.
