Our Nissan Primera is beginning to show her age somewhat. Consequently, Her Ladyship and I have decided that we'll start looking around when we come back from the USA next month.

We've done some preliminary enquiring, sounded out each others preferences, and we've decided that most of all we like......

    THE NEW MINI!

Of course it would have to be the Mini Cooper, they go like s*** off a shovel!

    What do you reckon?

That looks cool Eman....not too much room for naughtiness in the back seat though.

    Valis,

The back seat is a bit of an afterthought anyway.

Look at the interior, pretty cool, eh?

That does look cool. I wished they made small cars here that looked cool. ALthough I see some of the hybrid cars on the road now that look kind of slick.

E-Man if that is the model you're looking at, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Mike, I know you really want one of these, just admit it.

I'm getting one in a couple of weeks only in a better colour scheme.

    Mike,

My preference is for two seaters and my wife normally makes do with the sedans - auto-chauvinism its called! But having driven her Nissan's I have to say that the Maxima is one of the most meaty cars on the market for the price. Amazing torque, all the 'load's, and built to last. They do a sports version ( SE I think its called ). Ugly as hell, but it has the goods were it counts. I am trying out either the new Nissan 'Z' in the new year or the Ford Thunderbird.

hillary, is the Nissan Z the one that uses rotors instead of regular pistons? I saw that car on TV the other day. Cool, but I don't understand the mechanics..

I've been for a ride in one of those MC's and they're a blast. They aren't a corvette but they are fun. Zero room inside. The back seat is good for a 6 pack of beer, maybe. They are also on the expensive side these days since production is limited and they're sought after.

Mike, Mike, why not buy two of them and bolt them together so you will have a real car! The T-birds are very sweet! Or the new Jags, They run great now that Ford builds them. No more Lucas Electric. I had the V-12 ripped out of mine and had a 5.0 chevy engine with a turbo 400 drag racing tranny dropped in. Hell even a Mustang will do in a pinch! Maverick
