I find it perplexing

I am perplexed why the benefit of the doubt can not be given in many cases.

Say for instance you have a poster that from their threads is OBVIOULSY hurting, depressed or in need. Why can't others understand that maybe that person will push the envelope, the boundaries.

I know you all saw when my son was gone that I was not myself I was angry and it SHOWED in my posts. All I am saying to other posters and the powers that be is if someone is clearly in pain kicking them off the forum or reacting to them may just fuel that pain. Especially when someone is young.

I know when I was in my teens and had been hurt I walked screaming in my front yard F n Fn Fn F**** F**** that is how the young sometimes cope. I do think that we as older and wiser ones should have a tad bit more tolerance in those times.

I don't know who you are referring to, but maybe this person was just deleted temporarily, to give them time to cool off?

We all share your concerns! In my experience, one of the greatest beauties of JWD is the incredible personal care we have for each other. "Difficulties" on this public forum are often best resolved privately by e-mail, p/m, phone calls, or visits.

It's with that intent that Simon recently added guideline #11. I know you're not disputing or arguing here, but in the spirit of Si's suggestion, may I offer to discuss this with you off-board?

    Sincerely,

    Craig

It's obvious you are refering to Hamas.

He was deactivated to give him chance to cool off. His creating duplicate accounts and being silly has extended this period.

How do you know what has gone on that I don't post on here? ie. by email.

I normally give allowances for people but then Hamas used insulting and racist language anyway despite many, many requests not to. Again, simple polite requests were met with insults. We don't have to put up with that and I don't believe that "I'm depressed" is a valid excuse for that kind of behaviour.

No I prefer to use the italics since we don't have any font choices and....

Craig: Thank you for your offer. I understand perfectly the other side of this also.

    Simon:

I really don't understand what you mean here. REALLY. As far as Hamas Yes, I do agree that his behavior was over the top and understand why you deleted him.

I want you to understand though that sometimes people act the crappiest at home and to many this is their HOME. Not that it in anyway makes the conduct OK but sometimes it is a way to vent and have those you love stop you before you act like that in the real world.

Thank you and Craig for taking this in the spirit I meant it

The italics are okay, but they do make your posts a bit more difficult to read Sheila. Or maybe it's just my eyeballs.

Why of course it's your eyeballs LOL I just can't stand not having the fonts of my choice <hand to head>

S'ok Auntie Sheila...I always know where your posts are because of the bold italics. I like it because then I recognize that it's you!
