A certain amount of anonymity is always a good idea on a public forum. Why open yourself up and invite trouble?

Both to protect myself and others. Nevertheless, one doesn't have to be terribly computer savvy to figure out a whole lot about me.
Woohoo! I just discovered I handily picked the acronym for a popular bit of software (over 4,000 hits on Google). I guess I am not as easy to find as I thought.

We should all realize that a public forum is just that. Public.
You could be subjected to all kinds of trouble by divulging too much. And it is inviting trouble.
If you meet someone you want to know better, there are safer methods to get to know one another better.
A web-based email address, Instant messages, etc.
It is only common sense to be guarded on a public forum. You have no control over who comes here, and by posting too much personal information, you are an open target for all manner of harrassment.
Please be careful, and do not be too trusting of strangers!!!!!!

I knew you were much cuter than that. I'm impressed that you've still got the BOE letters up! I think you want to get caught...LOL!
I'm not very anonymous and I don't care! I don't give out my last name to everyone cause there are just too many strange people out there but, I'm not worried about ramifications from the WTS. At the worst, I'd get df'd (for what I don't know) and my dad would stop talking to me. Not the end of the world by any stretch!

I'm still in, and not sure if I do want to leave, as I have family in and a roomate in also. Plus, let's just say I'm in the middle of a romantic dry spell, and hoping for a witness girl with doubts who might mike life on all fronts easier.

I remain anonymous because of some friends here who also are in hostage situations..
Plus it is a "Public Forum"..as you get to know trustable ones e-mail are exchanged to have more private conversations.
