I thought this was suppose to be a camp fest in Canada? Maine's too far for us

How about in the middle of Canada like Thunder Bay.

Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. The Group camping site will hold up to 100 people, and its private too.

How far into Maine from the Canadian border?

Pettygrudger, I know that park. It's right on the Maine coast. You can also take the Seacat over to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and crash Shera's place. Shhh! don't tell her.

I've been to Acadia National Park, it's great! Mount Cadillac (I believe) is quite tall, and you can climb it and have a view unlike any you've ever seen.

The nice thing too, if you have tons of time on your hands, taking old U.S. 1. It's great! I'd say Bar Harbor, ME., is about 90 minutes or less from the St. Stephen, New Brunswick border crossing.

Not sure, but I would give it a thumbs up .

But it is a bit far, and I don't drive.

Maybe something nearer, but hey...one never knows.

    Great choice Rhonda.

    Rhonda,

I have a idea....why dont you pick 2 or 3 places..then we all take a vote..that way know feels left out....most of us arent to picky, but some that would like to go find it either to far, cant drive or what ever reason.....Just a thought hon.....maybe post some places, then everyone just starts to vote...I know we wont make everyone happy but, at least it would seem fair and no ones feelers would get hurt, feeling left out...
